Samba do Brazil!
Brazil is colorful and varied - just like the latest Aviationtag Edition! With the ATR 72-500 of the Brazilian airline Passaredo Linhas Aéreas, we finally have a turboprop in the Aviationtag fleet again.
In 1999, the PR-PDH with the Manufacturer Serial Number (MSN) 572 was initially delivered to the Indian Jet Airways and operated with the registration VT-JCA. After four years in service with Jet Airways, the ATR 72 was returned to her lessor and parked in Ireland with registration EI-FAN.
Finally, in November, a new lessee was found and the aircraft made its way to Brazil to fly as PR-PDH for Passaredo Linhas Aéreas. Passadero baptized the ATR "Tucano", the name of a municipality in the province of Bahia.
Late in 2016 MSN 572 returned to her lessor and was parked in Saarbrücken. There we discovered the colorful machine and were able to secure the most beautiful parts for our latest Aviationtag Edition in 2022 as part of the scrapping!
Get yours now, very small series!

Note: Each tag is unique. Depending on the plane, they differ in their feel, thickness of the material and color. Small bumps tell of the many years in the air and express the character of days gone by. Minor scratches, paint chips and bumps are completely normal and give the Aviationtag its special charm - that of a vintage product made from upcycled materials. These special features are not the result of the production process, but reflect the condition of the aircraft material used!
ATR 72-500: The ATR 72 is a turboprop regional airliner for short-haul cargo and passenger services, manufactured by the Franco-Italian consortium Avions de Transport Régional. It was developed from the shorter ATR 42. In January 1986 the ATR 72 was officially presented and in 1989 the Finnish Karair received the first ATR 72-100.
The ATR 72 is the 4.5 m stretched version of the ATR 42. Like this, it is equipped with two turboprop engines. In addition to the extended passenger compartment, the wings have also been enlarged. Since the aircraft's tanks are located in the wings, the ATR 72 also has a larger tank and thus a longer range.
The maximum range is a good 1,300KM and the maximum speed is 511 KM/H. Depending on the equipment, the ATR 72 can accommodate around 75 passengers.
