1. Purchasing Methods
Products sold by PilotShop may be purchased through:
- the online shop at www.pilotshop.ro;
- the PilotShop showroom;
- the Romanian Electronic Public Procurement System (SEAP), through the e-licitatie.ro platform, for public authorities and public institutions;
- an individual commercial quotation, where a product cannot be ordered directly from the online shop or requires a special configuration.
The Seller is: REGIONAL AIR SUPORT S.R.L., hereinafter referred to as “PilotShop” or the “Seller”.
This page supplements:
- the Terms and Conditions;
- Payment Methods and Invoicing;
- Secure Online Payments;
- Delivery, Transport and Showroom Collection;
- Returns Policy and Right of Withdrawal;
- the Product Warranty Policy.
In the event of any inconsistency, mandatory legal provisions and the Terms and Conditions applicable to the order shall prevail.
2. Purchasing Online
2.1. Selecting a Product
The Customer may browse the available products by using:
- the shop categories;
- the search function;
- the available filters;
- recommendations and related products;
- direct links to product pages.
Before placing an order, the Customer is advised to check:
- the product name and product code;
- the technical specifications;
- the package contents;
- compatibility;
- availability;
- the estimated delivery time;
- the price and currency;
- the documents or certificates included;
- any restrictions concerning installation, use or transport.
For aeronautical, electronic or technical products, the commercial information published on the Website does not replace the manufacturer’s documentation, applicable manuals, approved design data or verification by a qualified person.
Where there is any doubt regarding compatibility, the Customer is encouraged to request clarification before ordering.
Products intended for the installation, maintenance or operation of aircraft must be selected and purchased by reference to the applicable technical eligibility, conformity, traceability and release-to-service documentation.
REGIONAL AIR SUPORT S.R.L. is a distribution organisation authorised by the Romanian Civil Aeronautical Authority (AACR) in accordance with RACR-DPA, within the scope stated in its authorisation certificate.
For aeronautical products falling within the authorised scope, PilotShop provides the documents applicable to the order, which may include:
- the RACR-DPA recognised certificate of conformity issued by REGIONAL AIR SUPORT S.R.L.;
- the manufacturer’s conformity document;
- EASA Form 1;
- FAA Form 8130-3;
- a certificate of origin or traceability;
- a batch certificate;
- a test report;
- other documents required for the product.
Before purchasing, the Customer must communicate the exact requirements concerning the P/N, applicable standard, eligibility, product condition and required documentation.
PilotShop does not determine, in place of the owner, operator or maintenance organisation, whether a product may be installed on a particular aircraft. Eligibility for installation and release to service must be confirmed by the persons and organisations authorised under the applicable regulations.
2.2. Availability Information
Depending on the status of the product, the Website may use descriptions such as: “In stock”
The product is recorded as available in PilotShop stock at the time the product page is viewed.
Adding a product to the shopping cart does not automatically reserve it. Reservation takes place only under the conditions confirmed by PilotShop.
In exceptional cases, several orders may be placed within a short period and the displayed stock may not yet be synchronised with the actual stock.
“On request” or “Available to order”
The product is not permanently held in PilotShop’s own stock and availability must be checked with the manufacturer, importer or distributor.
The Customer may submit a request for quotation or an order, depending on the functionality displayed on the Website.
PilotShop will communicate, as applicable:
- availability;
- price;
- currency;
- the estimated lead time;
- payment terms;
- available documents;
- any restrictions.
Submitting a request for quotation does not constitute an order and does not require either party to enter into a contract.
“Out of stock”
The product cannot be ordered at that time.
Where the Website provides a “Notify me when available” function, using it allows the Customer to receive a notification if availability changes, but does not reserve the product or guarantee restocking.
2.3. Products Added to the Shopping Cart
A product is added to the shopping cart by selecting the relevant button on its product page.
Before submitting the order, the Customer may use the shopping cart to:
- check the selected products;
- change quantities;
- remove products;
- enter a promotional code, where available;
- check the currency;
- view product prices;
- review estimated delivery costs;
- check the total amount.
Merely adding a product to the shopping cart:
- does not constitute the placement of an order;
- does not result in the conclusion of a contract;
- does not automatically reserve the product;
- does not guarantee that the price or availability will remain unchanged until checkout is completed.
3. Customer Account and Guest Checkout
3.1. Ordering Through an Account
The Customer may create an account by using a valid email address and a password.
Depending on the available functions, the account may allow the Customer to:
- save addresses;
- view orders;
- access invoices;
- track shipments;
- submit after-sales requests;
- view the history of requests;
- manage preferences and alerts.
The Customer must protect the account login details and must not allow unauthorised persons to use the account.
3.2. Guest Checkout
Where the function is available at checkout, the Customer may place an order without creating a permanent account.
In this case, the Customer must provide a valid email address and the other information required for:
- order confirmation;
- invoicing;
- payment;
- delivery;
- sending documents;
- handling after-sales requests.
Orders placed without an account benefit from the same legal rights applicable to the relevant category of Customer.
To access a guest order at a later date, PilotShop may provide a secure identification process.
4. Entering Order Information
The Customer must provide complete, correct and up-to-date information.
This information may include:

- the address and postcode;
- the details of the person or company in whose name the invoice is to be issued;
- the country and currency;
- the products and quantities.
The billing details must correspond to the person or entity making the purchase.
The purchaser may be changed after the invoice has been issued only where the actual circumstances and the applicable tax legislation permit the correction.

Full information is available on the following pages:
- Payment Methods and Invoicing;
- Secure Online Payments.
7. Final Review of the Order
Before the order is submitted, the Customer is shown a summary which, as applicable, must include:
- the products and quantities;
- the essential characteristics;
- the individual price;
- the currency;
- the applicable VAT;
- discounts;
- the delivery cost;
- additional costs;
- the payment method;
- the billing address;
- the delivery address or delivery point;
- the total amount payable.
The Customer must be able to return to the entered information and correct any errors before submitting the order.
Electronic commerce legislation requires information to be provided on the technical steps for concluding the contract and requires a mechanism enabling the user to identify and correct errors before submitting the order.
8. Selecting the Payment Method and Submitting the Order
8.1. Selecting the Payment Method
After completing the personal information and addresses and selecting the delivery method, the Customer selects one of the payment methods displayed in the “Payment” section.
Depending on the characteristics of the order, the destination country and the delivery method, the following may be available:
- payment by bank transfer;
- payment on delivery, including any additional cash-on-delivery charge displayed;
- online card payment;
- other methods expressly displayed at checkout.
Methods that are not displayed for the relevant order are not available.
Before selecting the method, the Customer is provided with relevant information concerning:
- when payment is to be made;
- any additional costs;
- the product reservation period;
- processing conditions;
- the instructions specific to the selected method.
For bank transfer payments, the order is treated as paid only after the funds have actually been credited to the PilotShop bank account, under the conditions communicated at checkout and in the order confirmation.
For payment on delivery, the total amount payable to the carrier is shown before the order is submitted.
For online card payments, after submitting the order the Customer is redirected to, or interacts with, the secure interface of the payment services provider.
8.2. Final Review
Before submitting the order, the Customer may review and change the sections completed previously, including:
- personal information;
- billing address;
- delivery address or delivery point;
- delivery method;
- payment method.
The order summary displays, as applicable:
- the products and quantities;
- the product prices;
- the currency;
- the discounts applied;
- the delivery cost;
- the cash-on-delivery charge or the cost of other additional services;
- the applicable VAT;
- the total amount payable.
The Customer must check this information before submitting the order and use the available “Edit” functions to correct any errors.
8.3. Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions
Before submitting the order, the Customer must confirm that they have read and accept the applicable Terms and Conditions.
Acceptance is expressed by selecting the checkbox: “I agree to and accept the Terms and Conditions.”
The checkbox:
- is not selected in advance;
- must be activated through an express action by the Customer;
- contains, or is accompanied by, a direct link to the version of the Terms and Conditions applicable to the order;
- must be available for consultation before the order is submitted.
The final button remains inactive until the acceptance checkbox has been selected.
8.4. Order Submission Button
The order is submitted by activating the final button: “Place order”.
The same button is used for all available payment methods, including:
- bank transfer;
- payment on delivery;
- online card payment.
8.5. Effects of Submitting the Order
By activating the “Place order” button, the Customer confirms that they:
- have checked the products and quantities;
- have checked the personal information and addresses;
- have selected the delivery method;
- have selected the payment method;
- have reviewed the total price and any additional costs;
- have accepted the Terms and Conditions;
- understand that submitting the order entails an obligation to pay if the order is accepted by PilotShop.
Submitting the order constitutes the Customer’s request to purchase the selected products.
The automatic message sent immediately after the button is activated confirms that the order has been registered in the system, but does not, by itself, constitute acceptance of the order or conclusion of the contract.
The contract is concluded when PilotShop communicates its express acceptance of the order, in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.
9. Confirmation That the Order Has Been Registered
After the order is submitted, the system sends a message without undue delay to the email address provided by the Customer.
The message confirms that the request has been received by the system and may include:
- the order number;
- the date and time;
- the products;
- the quantities;
- the value;
- the addresses;
- the payment method;
- the delivery method;
- the initial status.
Romanian Law No. 365/2002 requires receipt of an electronically transmitted offer or acceptance to be confirmed by means that can be stored and reproduced by the recipient.
The automatic registration confirmation does not constitute acceptance of the order and does not, by itself, result in the conclusion of the contract.
10. Acceptance of the Order and Conclusion of the Contract
After receiving the order, PilotShop checks, as applicable:
- product availability;
- the price and currency;
- the information provided;
- whether delivery can be carried out;
- payment confirmation;
- any obvious incompatibilities;
- legal or transport restrictions;
- whether there are reasonable indications of fraud.
The contract is concluded when PilotShop sends the Customer express confirmation of acceptance of the order on a durable medium.
The acceptance confirmation must be clearly distinguished from the automatic message confirming only that the order has been registered.
After the contract is concluded, PilotShop sends the Customer confirmation of the contract on a durable medium within a reasonable period and no later than the time of delivery.
The confirmation may include:
- the details of the accepted order;
- the total price;
- the payment method;
- the delivery method;
- the applicable Terms and Conditions;
- information concerning withdrawal;
- the model withdrawal form;
- any applicable special policies;
- any individually agreed conditions.
11. Refusal or Amendment of an Order Before Acceptance
PilotShop may refuse to accept an order where there is an objective reason, including where:
- the product is no longer available;
- the product can no longer be sourced;
- there is an obvious error concerning the price, currency or characteristics;
- the Customer’s information is incomplete or incorrect;
- payment has not been authorised or confirmed;
- delivery cannot be carried out;
- the product is subject to legal restrictions;
- there are reasonable indications of fraud;
- the order is abusive or has been submitted in bad faith.
After the contract has been concluded, PilotShop will not unilaterally change:
- the product;
- the quantity;
- the price;
- the currency;
- an essential deadline;
- the delivery method;
- the total cost,
without the Customer’s agreement or a legal basis.
Where a condition must be changed before acceptance, the Customer will be informed and may:
- accept the new conditions;
- change the request;
- replace the product;
- cancel the order.
Where an order that has not been accepted has already been paid, PilotShop will initiate a full refund without undue delay.
12. Products Available by Special Order
Certain products may be sourced only after availability has been confirmed with the manufacturer, importer or distributor.
For such products, PilotShop may issue an individual quotation containing:
- the exact identification of the product;
- the manufacturer’s code;
- the configuration;
- the price;
- the currency;
- VAT;
- the estimated lead time;
- payment terms;
- delivery conditions;
- the documents included;
- the validity period of the quotation.
The order becomes binding only after the conditions have been accepted and the contract has been concluded.
The fact that a standard product is sourced specially from the supplier does not automatically make it a customised product and does not, by itself, remove the Consumer’s legal rights.
Products made or modified according to the Customer’s individual specifications may be subject to the special rules set out in the Returns Policy.
13. Collecting an Online Order from the Showroom
The Customer may select showroom collection where this option is available at checkout.
The Customer must wait for the notification confirming that the products are ready for collection.
At collection, the following may be requested:
• the order number;
• the confirmation message;
• an identity document for an order that has already been paid;
• a power of attorney or other authorisation where the products are collected on behalf of a company or another person.
Selecting showroom collection does not convert an online order into a purchase concluded directly in the shop.
Where the contract was concluded at a distance, the statutory right of withdrawal remains applicable even if the product is handed over in the showroom.
14. Purchasing Directly from the Showroom
Products may be purchased directly from the PilotShop showroom at: No. 24–28 Bucharest–Ploiești Road, Sector 1, 013694 Bucharest, Romania
Opening hours: Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:00
Subject to the applicable conditions and availability, the Customer may in the showroom:
- request information;
- inspect displayed products;
- try on certain items;
- request that certain functions be checked;
- pay for products;
- collect a prepared order.
Products displayed as available online are not guaranteed to be immediately available in the showroom.
Customers are advised to check stock before travelling to the showroom.
A purchase concluded directly in the showroom, in the simultaneous physical presence of the parties, is not a distance contract and does not automatically benefit from the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal.
This rule does not affect:
- the legal guarantee of conformity;
- rights concerning defective products;
- any commercial return facilities expressly offered by PilotShop.
15. Purchases Through SEAP
Public authorities and public institutions may purchase products from:
REGIONAL AIR SUPORT S.R.L.
Tax identification number (CUI): RO12020346
through the Romanian Electronic Public Procurement System (SEAP), available at e-licitatie.ro.
The electronic catalogue provides the basis for direct purchases and allows contracting authorities to review and select catalogue items published by economic operators.
15.1. Products Published in the Catalogue
The institution may search for products using, as applicable:
- the name of the economic operator;
- the product name;
- the CPV code;
- the product code;
- other criteria available on the platform.
The availability, price and lead time of a catalogue item must be checked before the purchase is initiated, particularly where the item was published earlier and the commercial conditions have changed.
15.2. Products Not Published in the Catalogue
Where the required product is not available in the electronic catalogue, the institution may ask PilotShop to:
- check availability;
- submit a quotation;
- identify the CPV code;
- publish an item in the catalogue, where the procurement and the applicable rules allow this.
Publication of an item does not guarantee that the procurement will be awarded.
15.3. Conduct of the Procurement
The procurement is conducted in accordance with:
- the rules of the SEAP platform;
- the contracting authority’s documentation;
- the PilotShop quotation;
- public procurement legislation;
- the contractual conditions accepted by the parties.
The price, VAT, deadline, delivery, payment through the Romanian Treasury system and the required documentation must be established for the relevant procurement.
A procurement through SEAP is not deemed to have been placed merely because a general message has been sent to PilotShop.
16. Legal Entities and Business Customers
Legal entities, professionals and institutions may purchase:
- through the online shop;
- from the showroom;
- on the basis of an individual quotation;
- through SEAP, where they are contracting authorities;
- under a separate commercial contract.
Correct tax information must be provided when the order is placed.
The special rights granted to consumers do not automatically apply to purchases made in the course of a trade, business, craft or profession.
Commercial return conditions, commercial guarantees, payment and delivery may be established by the accepted quotation or contract.
17. Amending or Cancelling an Order
The Customer may request an amendment or cancellation for as long as the processing stage allows it.
The request may concern:
- the products;
- the quantities;
- the address;
- the delivery method;
- the billing information;
- full cancellation.
An amendment is not guaranteed after:
- acceptance of the order;
- issuance of tax documents;
- payment confirmation;
- preparation of the parcel;
- handover to the carrier.
After the contract has been concluded, the Consumer may benefit from the statutory right of withdrawal under the conditions set out on the Returns Policy and Right of Withdrawal page.
