VECTOR™ OPTICAL COATING

Stops harmful glare from behind.

This proprietary multi-layer coating is applied to each lens to block harmful reflected light and ‘bounce-back’ glare from entering your eye from behind. VECTOR™ reduces eye-strain and improves visual acuity with the added benefit of built-in hydrophobic, anti-static, and scratch-resistant properties.

BLUE WAVE™ TECHNOLOGY

Filters damaging ‘blue light’ to preserve eye health.

With Blue Wave™ technology, each SkyTec™ lens reduces eye strain, improves sleep patterns and increases overall visual acuity. Our lenses protect your eyes from potentially harmful ‘blue’ and High Energy Visible (HEV) light, that can potentially cause macular degeneration and eye damage.

100% UVA/UVB PROTECTION

Complete defense from harmful rays.

Our premium lenses act like sunblock for your eyes, blocking 100% of damaging UVA and UVB rays. You wouldn’t go out in the sun all day without protecting your skin, we believe your eyes should be protected in the same way.

INFRARED RAYS (IR) MANAGEMENT

Eliminates dry eye conditions or tired eyes.

SkyTec™ Glass lenses provide additional protection from Infrared Rays (commonly known as Heat Radiation or Heat Waves) that can potentially cause dry eye conditions or tired eyes.

VISUAL LIGHT TRANSMISSION

Percentage of light allowed to pass through the lens.

The lower the Visual Light Transmission, the darker your lens will be. Both polarized and non-polarized lenses have VLT percentages. Low-light conditions call for a higher percentage while high-light conditions are best suited for a lower percentage.

OLEOPHOBIC COATING

Finger smudge resistance.

Randolph’s Oleophobic coating helps the lenses to stay clean, clear and smudge free. Resisting oil from being absorbed on the lens and creating snudges, such as greasy finger prints.

HYDROPHOBIC COATING

Enables moisture to roll off lenses.

A cut above the rest, our Hydrophobic coatings are applied to the outside of Randolph lenses to stop water from sitting on the lens - instead it quickly rolls off without leaving residue.

DROP-BALL TESTED
