If we had to guess, it’s because they threw out the all the warm stuff inside the original MA-1 and replaced it with, like, nothing. Now, all that stands between you and the summer breeze is the MA-1 VF LW’s robust flight nylon and a super thin lining that matches the outer material, save for some incredibly stylish contrast stitching. The flight nylon shields your body from all kinds of weather (mostly from wind and rain, though) and the jacket’s polished and thus super shiny zipper adds just that extra amount of shiny. Oh, and the jacket is slim fit, so no crazy layering, friends. To cut a long story short: the MA-1 VF LW is a great option for spring and summer days.
